General Manager

Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a results-oriented leader with a history of strong sales and operations success, preferably as a manager in the dental or medical device field at their business centers in New Jersey. As a General Manager, he will direct and supervise the sales and internal operations of the branch, including management of the sales team. He will partner with the Operations Manager to develop firm strategies to further the branch's maximum growth and profitability while providing quality service to the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations
● Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
● A team lead and manage the sales team
● Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs
● Analyzing and evaluating sales activities as well as market trends and customer needs for sales optimization
● Strategizing sales, coming up with new ideas to enhance the effectiveness of sales activity within the organization
● Building and nurturing relationships with customers to grow business within existing accounts

Education & Experience
● A minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales
● Previous experience in the following areas: customer service, sales, and asset management
● Experience running warehouse operations & inventory management tracking
● Experience with Amazon FBA
● Experience running a distribution business
● Good presentation skills
